Follow-up on Temple Redevelopment

 

OBCC reiterated before HC its target to complete Cuttack Chandi Temple redevelopment by March 2026.

 

Work includes: Yagya Mandap, east gate, pilgrim facilities.

Statewide school holiday declared for Jhulan Purnima, a culturally significant festival celebrating Radha–Krishna.

 

 

On National Handlooms Day, CM Majhi inaugurated the EKTA handloom exhibition, urged citizens to support Swadeshi by buying local handloom products, and announced Madhuri Dixit as the state’s handloom brand ambassador.

 

The event featured extensive job creation and investment initiatives.

 

August 8 onward

 

Deputy CM Pravati Parida embarked on a five-day district tour across Koraput, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Balangir, and Sonepur to review implementation of women-centric schemes, including Subhadra Yojana and Mission Shakti.

 

On August 9 (Raksha Purnima), she distributed the third installment under Subhadra Yojana in Koraput.
